Notary Stamp / Notary Self Inking Stamp / Notary Seal / Notary Rubber StampOnce the Notary has been licensed, usually by the Secretary of State they are Required to purchase a Notary Rubber Stamp or for convenience a Self Inking Notary Stamp which is used to notarize a host of various legal documents. Some examples include acknowledgments of deeds, mortgages, liens, powers of attorney. The notary stamp manufacturer in some states such as California must be licensed by the state. In the specific case of California your Notary certificate must be forwarded to the licensed manufacturer stamped with the new notary stamp showing a clean, legible, crisp impression meeting the layout requirements of the state. The Notary certificate must then be mailed directly back to the Secretary of State for final approval. In choosing a supplier for your Notary stamp you want to make sure they sell a variety of quality notary stamps which may include a traditional notary hand stamp or one of the now more common Self inking type stamps such as Ideal Ideal or Xstamper brands. |
